It’s time for me to share with you the alternate designs I created using Celebrating In Color. The May 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit known as Celebrating In Color might seem a bit of a challenge, however I love what I designed.

I don’t know about you, but I love Sampler projects. It is a beautiful way to bring our love for crafting into our homes and work place. I have a shadow box on my desk at work and update the sampler in there periodically, I’d love it to be monthly, however it doesn’t always happen. As I mentioned in my previous post on the May 2022 Paper Pumpkin, Celebrating In Color, it reminds me those posters that are positive messages to be productive and stay on track day to day. The sentiments in the Celebrating In Color stamp set are just that to me.

You can do anything!

You make me HAPPY!

HAPPY to have You in my Life!

HAPPY to celebration Your Day!

alternate 1 – fun & encouraging sampler

So I decided I’d design a Sampler with the second set of materials instead of creating a second set of cards. The only thing I used in addition to the kit itself is a 12″ x 12″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I am very pleased with the results, what do you think?

I wanted to also show you how I did this sampler…
The picture on the left below is a little hard to show because it is white on white. That said, hopefully you can see I cut specific card stock shapes in a variety of sizes (sizes on each piece) that helped me to determine the sizes and layout for the sampler. I’ve decided to collect these and add as I hope to create future samplers. And, in order to create the various elements of the sampler, I had to cut down some of the Celebrating In Color Paper Pumpkin pieces as shown below.

Alternate 2 – Gift Tags with a Gift card Holder

Celebrating in Color Paper Pumpkin May 2022
Well, aren’t these cute? Okay, for these gift tags, I used the gift card holders that came in the kit and I used a couple of the card bases in Basic White to cut down to the base tag. I stamped the abstract dot image on the tags before adhering the gift card holder, then I used the other stamps in the set to embellish the tags further. I only added some of the new In Color ribbon that coordinated nicely, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky. And, I also am showing you how these tags look when used with Stampin’ Up! newest Embossed Treat bag found in the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog, I’ve linked you to the item in my online store.

These were so fun to make I hope you like the alternate projects I created this month.
