I can hardly believe it is November already! I joined a group of fellow crafters from all around the world known Sweethearts Global Collective. They have a monthly blog hop, so I am hopping in. The theme is “Holiday”, so of course I am sharing a fun fold card using Decorated with Happiness bundle for the Sweethearts Global Collective Holiday Blog Hop.

Sweetheart Global Collective Blog Hop

Have you seen the Decorated with Happiness bundle? I love this bundle it is so forgiving and fun! It has some really great sentiments and a fabulous array of dies that coordinate.

I love to make this card style, however I have to say I do not love that it will not stand up! Silly I know, but it is such a pretty card layout that I keep making them.

Easy to create, here’s how

This is truly a simple card. Card base (Pool Party cardstock) is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, select your patterned paper (DSP Sweetest Christmas) cut 4″ x 12″, then score long side at 1″ 2 1/2″ and 7 3/4″. Fold the DSP piece the 1″ folds out flips up, the other two score lines fold to inside. Then adhere to the cardstock base and my favorite adhesive is Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Cut a Basic White piece of cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″ for inside. Stamp any desired images before adhering inside the card.

Next I wrapped a piece of the Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon around the 1″ folded out flap to hold it down and tied a bow.

Decorate front as desired. I used the Fabulous Frames Dies, cut 1 each in Sweet Sorbet and Basic White cardstock. Stamped desired images on the Basic White center of frame. Then I die cut a few elements from the Decorated Pines Dies that coordinate with the Decorated with Happiness Stamp Set in Garden Green, Sweet Sorbet, Pool Party and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, then layered them on the front of the card using Multi-purpose Liquid glue. Inks used in this project were Garden Green, Sweet Sorbet and Pool Party.

All the materials used in the project are linked below for your convenience.

The inside stamped images, I wanted to let you know that I stamped the shadow image first and I stamped off once, then the pines were stamped in full strength. (Garden Green Ink)

I told you, super simple! Here are a couple other examples. This can be less complicated and then it can also be more complicated based on the details that you add to the front of the card.

I hope this give you some ideas and inspiration for your Holiday preparations!
