Here is my first alternate project using the July 2022 Paper Pumpkin – Sending Good Thoughts. When I am thinking about alternate projects, the challenge I give myself is to only use what is provided in the kit. I used two of the card bases to create this adorable gift box. I cased this box from a box that Erica Cerwin @ www.pinkbuckaroo.com created a few weeks back. The measurements are slightly smaller.
Gift Box Instructions
Cut two pieces 5 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, score both as follows: Short side- 1/2″, 2″, 3 1/2″ and 5″, then turn to the left and score long side 2″ and 5″.
Burnish all the score lines then cut as shown above. Put adhesive on flap on both pieces and adhere both pieces together. Flaps C & D get folded in and adhered together to form the bottom of the box. Flap B from each piece will get adhered together. And, that makes the box. Then you can cover as desired.
