Sweet Sunflowers August Paper Pumpkin is SO Good! The images used in this kit remind me of all the beautiful things in my life. So many vibrant colors, it brings joy!
As I put these cards together I am thinking about all that I am Grateful for right now.
- Meditation. Over the last year I have found much personal growth through regularly meditating.
- Do you practice intentional gratitude?
- Thinking a better thought or choosing what is good, keeps me in a state gratitude.
- At a minimum, every day, I am thankful for my marriage.
- I like this practice of gratitude, because it helps me to be a better me. By daily practicing, I am taking steps in the direction toward my goals. Each time I see my progress, I am inspired to continue to walking in the direction of my dreams.

Paper crafting and crafting in general and projects like the Sweet Sunflowers August Paper Pumpkin kit give me a place to relax and escape from life’s stressors. And, it has given me a wonderful outlet to be creative, make things with my hands, design lovely cards, scrapbooks, home decor items and more. Best of all, I have made so many wonderful connections over the years and cherish those friendships.
In addition to therapeutic value of the Sweet Sunflower August Paper Pumpkin kit, it has some really great stamps and sentiments, perfect for a just because card to simply saying Thank you!
I did step away from the original instructions on the card above and I’m not sure you will even notice it. Instead of using the honey comb vellum piece from the kit, I cut one of the bonus gold foil honey comb sheets into a similar shape and used the gold foil. I wanted something a bit shiny for this Sweet Sunflower card.
