Hello Friends, Welcome Back for more alternate projects from the Sending Good Thoughts July 2022 Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up!
If you want to see the original cards designed for this kit, please check out my blog posted here. And, I have one other post that shared my first Alternate project, which is an adorable gift box here is a link to that blog post.
I love trying to figure out what I can design using just the items in the box. The Betty Crocker individual dessert packs came to mind. The card base was easily transformed into a pouch.
It is really simple.
- Trim the front portion of the card diagonally to create an opening.
- Stamp images to decorate the solid cardstock.
- The triangle piece I trimmed off, was glued to the inside becoming a part of the back inside panel.
- Cut the embossed layering piece into two 1-1/2″ strips, glue together to create a belly band.
- Decorated the front with some of the remaining embellishments from the kit.
The only thing I used on this project that was not in the kit is Multi-purpose Glue which is my personal favorite glue. It is strong and secure.
And, here are a few other cards I created with the kit as alternates:
After creating one set of the cards that the kit was designed to make, I was able to create an adorable gift box, treat pouch and 3 alternate cards. And, I still have product left over.
